This looks spectacular.....semi-seriously considering it. Have a buddy who works for Marin that did it this year. His pics were amazing!!

Funny! I was there yesterday. I didn't unpack the bike, but it seems to be very bike friendly.

Several of my friends just did that. Sounds like they had a blast.

Yes, a vacation. We had a family canal barge trip in the Loire valley in France, some time in Paris, and time in Bordeaux. We brought my handcycle, rented a bike for Alison, and rode a few times. All the rides were relaxed and not long, but this was a trial run. She enjoyed it, so we will do it àgain.

Momentum is building...mentioned it to a few local buddies and they are up for it. So far we have 4 or 5 guys committed to it. Got some hotel information from one of the ones listed on the site...347 euro for a standard room (2 beds) and that includes breakfast everyday and 2 dinners. Seems entirely reasonalble.

I just may very well pull this off.

"You got what it takes?" (From the website) Yeah, I still have a little of my brains. That looks seriously rattling. I'll pass and keep what's left. But Ck, you still have that precious connective tissue, so go for it!

I'll stick to riding to and around Crater Lake in 6 weeks. On pavement.

The mountain biking doesn't look too shabby either...
