Dale - The Neopro jerseys fabric looks thin(as in semi-transparent) in the photos, is that your experience? Thanks |

Huck, they're a summer weight jersey but no thinner than the Voler, Verge, or Giro jerseys I just checked. They do look thin on their website.. might be the lighting or that they're wearing a size that's tight on the models and stretched thin. |

They need to figure something out to bring some parity and make it less predictable. In theory, the new cost caps, car designs and additional wind tunnel time for lower ranked teams should help bring some parity to F1.....but it is gonna take some time to play out. This years Driver's Championship is over after 1 race. Yeesh... |

Well if the Mercedes engineers are gonna stick their head in the sand and not listen to their driver itโs going to take awhile to catch up. What I would like to know though, are hairy legs more aero than shaven legs? |

I'm sure the F-1 folk have looked into it but I cannot see that it would make any difference inside one of those fire suits.ย

Well if the Mercedes engineers are gonna stick their head in the sand and not listen to their driver itโs going to take awhile to catch up. Sweet Protection, who make that ridiculous TT lid I posted the other week, are saying they worked with one of the aerodynamicists from the Mercedes team for that helmet. I don't think that is the flex they think it is....๐๐ |

If that's that yellow thing with a dark band - isn't that a re-entry shield for space vehicles?

It is shocking that Mercedes got the new car so wrong after being so dominant with the prior car. And, yes, they should've listened to their driver. But I think the biggest issue is that the Red Bull power unit is just light years ahead of everyone else's right now. I often wonder how McLaren feels since they dumped Honda after a short relationship with them and then Honda went with Red Bull and developed the best power unit on the grid. |

Yeah, Merc has really screwed the pooch, as it were. I had hopes for them after they had closed the gap later in the season last year. Supposedly there was talk after the race last week that they recognize 2023 is gonna be a write off year with no hope of being in contention. Amazing how they got is so wrong, so quickly. |

Ummm, well, LSD I didn't start the meander in to F1, just added to the discussion. And I'm aware it's a cycling forum. I've been on this forum since the late 90's during the VN days. I just don't post very often. If you took the time to read this whole thread, you'd see that I originally joined the discussion with a response to the OP's question about cycling jerseys. |

Thanks Cranky Tom. I may have to give Voler a shot. So far, thinking of a Black Bibs aero jersey and and a Neopro aero jersey - just a little over $100 for the two - total. Thanks everybody! |
