I just checked my Dish Network guide. NBC Sports is airing Paris-Roubaix Monday the 13th 4PM (Pacific). So, if you are like me, don't click on any cycling website or read any newspapers, or go into any bike shops, or talk to any of your ride buddies, if you want to keep in suspense...

Or just watch it live on their app / online.....coverage starts @ 7:00AM EDT, 4:00 AM PDT.

I'm planning on a long trainer ride with some buddies at our training center. Ride starts @ 7:00. Easy zone 2 ride planned. We did it for MSR and it was awesome.

I'm watching it live for free on NBCSN live extra, a good quality live stream that you can stop, start, skip back and forth. If your cable has this network, watch it for free now.

Best part of June stream? Commercial free. Not a single ad.

Worst part of the stream? Phil & Paul.

Great win by Degenkolb. Dude went out and grabbed the race, made it is own. Bridged up to the GvA group, rode straight through and kept the heat on even though he wasn't getting a lot of help. Still had the stones to win the sprint.

Lots of tentative racing today, but the last 20k was pretty damn good.

We watched 100K while we were on trainers. 2 1/2 hour ride and a comfortable pace, riding with buds and watching P-R. On to the Masters....hopefully Rose and Phil can keep the heat on Spieth. I'd like to see Spieth win, but want some competition on the back 9 today.

Impressive win by Degenkolb - that is how he wanted to win to show that he's more than just a sprinter. Different edition of P-R but certainly an interesting one to watch in terms of dynamics and tactics. The strong side/headwind had a lot to do with tentative racing.

Agreed re: the wind....that one stretch in the crosswinds with echelons forming was telling (as were the flags standing straight out! )

Another note of admiration for the winner. Like he said in the post race interview (in perfect English, with a French interviewer) he knew that he had to do most of the work because no one wanted to get to the finish with him.
Cool to see Kittel work so hard for his teammates in the Classics. The guy is more than just a supreme field sprinter.
Wiggins' ride confused me. Why was he dropping back on the cobbled sections until the last 50k? to avoid going into the red zone? Or was it just too much for him? Props for taking two major digs, but it was far too little.
