Photos: http://www.flickr.com/photos/literallyspeaking/sets/72157633601687631/ Keith- not much left. I snagged the short reach levers and dt levers, they're yours if you want them, otherwise I'll use them. Ben- they have 3 sets... In 650c. Otherwise, take a look, it's a bit of a mess but I didn't want to be any bigger of a p.i.t.a. Lemme know. Oh, obviously the higher end stuff she's not coming off of quite as much, but I just have to talk to her. If'n you want, shoot me an email- adashner-at-hotmail. |

What is up with the GL280/330 rims? How many holes? Any decent 1" headsets? |

Unfortunate, but I can see how this happened - all too common in the bike biz. Keith hit the nail Imagine the cost of all that stuff to stay dry for for 20-25 years. Sante and XC Pro was great, Galli rims not so much. No matter what it sells for it will never cover the loss - dead inventory. ROI is where its at if you want to stay afloat, tight inventory too The tell was the box of 9 speed Ultegra cranks all missing the chainrings. I have seen this too many times, especially in the old Schwinn shops. Sucks, because I love digging thru memory lane |

sorry for the lack of updates here fellas- sick kids (outbreak of parvo in kids here- wtf?) kept me from getting back there until yesterday. the rims are gone. most of the higher end stuff (including those cranksets) is going into storage- she's gonna take a week or two and decompress, then i'm supposed to go over with her and spearhead the fleabaying of remaining stuff. i'll give you a heads up when that happens, and let you know what you could maybe get your hands on before it goes to ebay. |

oh, and i now own approx. 200 boxes of spokes- mostly dt comps and champions, but lots of odds and ends in quantities of <10- everywhere from 250 up to 307s. so, if you gotta wheel build you need to do, or an old campy neutron spoke that needs replacing or whatever, lemme know. they'll be cheap. |

Any Campy neutron or nucleon rims?. Early ones are interchangeable. Both are 24 spoke with a specific front and rear rim. My brake tracks are wearing out and the rim is going to split soon. |

We joke about the owners holding on to things, but that's nutz! These days there just isn't a reason to keep that much stock around. |

keith- she's taking a week or two off, is supposed to call me and we're gonna go through what's left and i'll have an idea then. will keep y'all posted. the shop was, for a very long time, THE shop in town for anybody who something other than a schwinn. over the last 10 or 15 years the number of shops in town has absolutely exploded. and yeah, there are plenty of other issues too (sitting on a real estate goldmine/property tax sinkhole is a big one i suspect)- but the death of her husband several years ago (the guy who originally opened the shop) and an apparent lack of interest of any of their kids to continue on i think were the main factors. |
