I haven't been back to the other site since making the move here. Is anybody visiting both sites? I figure it sends a message that some people are gone and not reading their site any longer. I know that they don't care about the froum but they might care that I'm not reading their news or reading their sponsor ads. |

I've been checking back there. I find it fascinating in the same way as Pripyat, Ukraine or Centralia, Pennsylvania. |

I just switched and since so many others also made the change I have no reason to visit the VN site. |

I check occasionally just to see if there are any stragglers left behind. I do the same thing on group rides....don't wanna see anyone get dropped!! ;-) |

Kinda sad watching the decline of the Velonews forum as the spambots take over. |

Hello all. I checked the old VN Forum this AM. Inferno posted about the inventor of the Schwinn Stingray passing. Nice article. I think the rest was SPAM
Thanks to KR for easing the transition, and special thanks to Steve here at Velonation for the welcome!

Hey Steve, thanks for the new cyber home! When I'm not logged in my actual name, Justin Maines, appears under topics that I have started. Once I log in it shows my user name, jmdirt. I'm not concerned about the crew seeing my name but thought that was odd. I don't need anonymity from the forumites but its nice to be invisible to googlers. |

Auto clicked on my book mark this morning when I was doing my morning "internet routine". I may continue to take a peek in the same way one can't resist at looking at a bad car accident. It will be interesting to see if any of the members there decide to be in the dead enders club and continue to hang out. I really should just delete th bookmark.... but bad car accidents and all that ;-)

For 10 years Velonews was my home page. Now it's Velonation. I'll go back and check periodically, but it will not get a bookmark. Sorry Velonews, you have to earn that. Ben |

I just came today because I had log in issues. But now that I am all set, it's bye bye velonews except for some articles. They are going to lose a lot of page views I think which does translate to ad dollars since we were heavy users of the site and generated ad impressions. J |
