Posthuma wins Ruta del Sol, Rebellin takes stage

Dutchman Joost Posthuma, riding for Rabobank, won the Ruta del Sol race following Wednesday's final 165.8km stage from Torrox to Antequera in Andalucia, veteran Italian rider Davide Rebellin of Serramenti taking won the stage.
Rebellin, who has shown he is on form, will not be defending his Paris-Nice victory from 2008 since his Serramenti team was not invited. The Italian's team was also left off of the Amstel Gold Race start list, a race he won in 2004 and has consistently finished in contention since 2003 - his worst finish being sixth place.
Results from the fourth and final stage of the Ruta del Sol race Thursday, a 165.8km ride from Torrox to Antequera:
