25 teams announced for the 93rd Tour of Flanders

The organizers of the Tour of Flanders announced the names of the teams that will take the start in the 93rd edition of the event on Sunday, April 5.

The organizers of the Tour of Flanders announced the names of the teams that will take the start in the 93rd edition of the event on Sunday, April 5.

The tally for the race includes eighteen ProTour teams and seven professional continental teams receiving a wildcard invitation.

Among the wildcard selection are Belgian continental teams Landbouwkrediet-Tönissteiner and Topsport Vlaanderen-Mercator, and Het Nieuwsblad winner Thor Hushovd's Cervélo TestTeam which has had a strong season to date.

Included in the list is the embattled Fuji-Servetto team, earlier lost their challenge in the Court of Arbitration Sport to ride in the Amaury Sports Organization's race Paris-Nice.
