Quick-Step eyes Romandie

Team Quick-Step will be sending a strong contingent to this years Tour of Romandie. They will be looking to gain for for the first Grand Tour of the year, the Giro d'Italia.

"We will start with a very competitive team," says director sportif Luca Guercilena. "The Tour de Romandie represents the last great appointment before the Giro d’Italia. For some riders this race will be the last test to improve the condition before the Giro."

The Suisse race will represent the return to the competition for Sebastien Rosseler. Today the Belgian rider trained with his teammates on the Liège-Bastogne-Liège course.

"I’m really happy because I can return to competition – explains Rosseler - after nearly 2 months of stop for the injury to the scaphoid of my left wrist. Now I feel good, I have only a slight annoyance, but It’s normal after this kind of injury. I just want to compete and train to find out the best condition for the summer and the second part of the season."

Riders: Dario Cataldo, Dominique Cornu, Mauro Facci, Kevin Hulsmans, Davide Malacarne, Sebastien Rosseler, Hubert Schwab, Kevin Seeldraeyers.
