Pinotti defends his Italian TT title

Team Columbia-High Road has been on fire all season long, and today Italian Marco Pinotti added to the team's win tally of 42 defending his Italian time trial champion title bringing the team's win total to 43. This is the fourth time Pinotti has won his national jersey.
Pinotti rode the 32.3 kilometer course from Mordano to Imola in 39 minutes and 22 seconds, beating second placed Gabriele Bosisio (LPR Brakes) by 19 seconds and third placed Maurizio Biondo (Ceramica Flamina) by 1:09.
Other notables were 2006 Italian time trial champion Marzio Bruseghin (Lampre-NGC) who only managed sixth and Manuel Quinziato (Liquigas) who rounded out the top 10.
