Hushovd extends with Cervélo TestTeam

Norwegian Thor Hushovd has extended his contract with the Cervélo Pro Cycling TestTeam until December 2011.
Amongst his palmares Hushovd has six Tour de France stage wins and has won the Tour's green jersey competition once. So far this season the big sprinter has had four victories for the team, and expressed his confidence in the Team by extending his contract.
“I have a really good feeling with this team. They provide us with a professional surrounding allows us to concentrate on our sport and our personal performance,” said Thor Hushovd. “The philosophy, the ambitions and the morale of the team is how I like it and want it to be. I always get great support from my team mates so my decision to extend the contract was an easy one.”
“I’m very pleased with Thor’s decision to go further with us and continue his work with the Team,” said Thomas Campana, Managing Director of the Cervélo TestTeam. “He has helped us with our equipment goals and collaborated on with our bike components partners on product development. He is a great rider, an experienced athlete, as well as, a very likeable person.”
