The team transfer rumor mill has been churning for weeks, and along with speculation about other star members of the Team Columbia-HTC juggarnaught, we have confirmation that Edvald Boasson Hagen will leave the team.
According to his manager Birger Hungerholdt Boasson Hagen will be riding elsewhere in 2010.
"We have a list of teams that are interested," Hungerholdt said to the Norwegian media.
"After the Tour of Poland [where Boasson Hagen won two stages] There was an explosion of interest."
Along with his recent stage wins in the Tour of Poland, Boasson Hagen has also won a stage in the Giro d'Italia and the Gent-Wevelgem semi-classic.
There is speculation as to whether Thomas Lövkvist, Morris Possoni, George Hincapie, and Marcus Burghardt will follow suit. If so, that will make a serious dent in both firepower and experience for 2010.
