The Belgian contingent of Lance Armstrong's RadioShack team is hard at work trying to round up fellow countrymen to build up their classics squad. Earlier this week it was reported that Geert Steegmans and Sebastien Rosseler will be heading to the American squad, and now it looks as if they have their sites on two-time Tour of Flanders winning Stijn Devolder.
Future RadioShack director Dirk Demol said there is an "obstacle", referring the the Belgian's contract with Quick-Step for 2010.
Demol told Het Nieuwsblad, "Stijn is still under contract for another year with Quick Step and we respect that. We have never bought riders away."
While the former classics rider admits that next year looks to be out of the question, he wants to send a clear message out for 2011, when he's certain the two will talk.
