Thursday, September 17, 2009 Skil-Shimano to stay Pro-Continental by Nick Mulder at 1:05 PM EST   comments Categories: Pro Cycling   Skil-Shimano has chosen to stay a UCI Pro-Continental team for the 2010 season. Following their debut in the Tour de France Skil-Shimano announced that they would request a Pro-Tour license but notified the UCI and Licence Commission to end the procedure earlier this week. The Dutch team hopes to be able to continue to compete for wild card invitations despite the addition of Team Sky and Team RadioShack.
