Italian outfit Ceramica Flaminia is making big changes for 2009. From the 16 contracted racers, only six will remain with the team. Italian champion Filippo Simeoni is leaving, while Riccardo Riccó, currently sitting out a doping suspension until March 2010, will return  to racing with Ceramica.

Only Giampaolo Caruso, Cristiano Fumagalli, Massimiliano Gentili, Leonardo Giordani, Alessandro Maserati and Enrico Rossi are retained for 2010, according to www.wielerflits.nl.

Besides Riccó, Ceramica is hiring Andrea Noè (Liquigas), Luca Celli (Serramenti), Paolo Bailetti (Fuji), Daniele Colli (CarmioOro), Raivis Belohvosciks and Donato Cannone (Betonexpressz), as well as Elite-2 riders Edoardo Girardi and Filippo Baggio.
