Earlier this week team Saxo Bank found itself missing from the list of ProTour teams that have been approved by the International Cycling Union (UCI) for 2010. The team's press officer, Brian Nygaard, cleared up the confusion surrounding their applications acknowledging that copies of some of the documents were sent when the UCI required the originals.
The team immediately sent the originals to the UCI, and has already received written confirmation from the sport's governing body that their ProTour license for 2010 has been approved.
