Switzerland’s Bruno Risi and Franco Marvulli won the Munich Six Day last night. The Swiss duo held on to a slim three point lead over Denmark’s Alex Rasmussen and Michael Morkov. The win marks the ninth and final time that the 41 year old Risi will be on the highest step in Munich since he will retire after this season.

German duo Leif Lampater and Christian Grasmann finished a respectable third with the same number of laps but with a 57 point deficit. Dutchmen Danny Stam and Peter Schep were another lap backwards. German Danilo Hondo, returning to the Pro-Tour next year with Italy’s Lampre-NGC, finished seventh with partner Andreas Beikirch.
