Luis León Sánchez and Alejandro Valverde of Caisse d'Epargne raced at a charity race today, together with several members of the Contentpolis team. The proceeds of the event were given to an organization that helps in the fight against kids' cancer in Murcia.

The race was 58km long, according to esciclismo.com. There were 130 cyclists fighting for victory. In a tight sprint, José Antonio Alcázar (Kadus-Borrascas) ended up beating Antonio García, who rides for the U23 team of Contentpolis. The winning time was one hour and 41 minutes.
