Andy Schleck collided with a car this past Saturday while training in Luxembourg. "Getting treated after small crash today nothing bad," he said on his Twitter account.
The runner up to Alberto Contador in this year's Tour de France was lucky to have gotten away with only minor injuries, adding that the driver of the car did see him, but was unable to avoid the collision. "I think he has more damage on his car," he said.
Two-time Tour de France winner Contador points to Schleck as his biggest rival for next year's edition of the race.
Fortunately, the mishap doesn't look like it will impact Schleck's training program informing Twitter followers that there was "nothing broken so it's good".
