Bjarne Riis, manager of the Danish Saxo Bank team, will be testing three young Danish riders during the team's upcoming training camp. Riis will be giving three riders of the Continental Glud & Marstrand team a chance to prove themselves, according to Wielerflits.
The three riders are 21-year-old Niki Østergaard, 22-year-old Troels Rønning Vinther (ex-Unibet) and 20-year-old Christopher Juul Jensen.
Østergaard is getting a second chance, after already having spent some time with the team last year, together with compatriots Jonas Aaen Jørgensen and Rasmus Guldhammer, as well as Swede Anders Lindén and the Norwegian Stian Remme.
Jørgensen was the one who managed to get a ProTour contract with the team. Guldhammer also joined the top league of cycling, albeit with the Team HTC-Columbia.
Lasse Bøchmann went the other way. After a promising time as a stagiaire, he spent 2009 with Saxo Bank. But this year he will be riding for Glud & Marstrand again.
