David Kopp has signed with German Continental team Kuota-Indeland, according to Cyclismag. The German was suspended for doping until the beginning of this year and is now eligible to race again.

Kopp started his career with Team Telekom, where he rode in 2002 and 2003. He also was a member of Gerolsteiner (2006 and 2007) but in-between had to settle for Continental teams like Lamonta, Wiesenhof, and Cycle Collstrop. He was riding for the latter team when he was caught using cocaine at a criterium in Belgium, on September 11, 2008.

Kopp's year-long suspension started on January 1, 2009.

Kopp won several high-profile German races, like Rund um Köln (2005) and finished second in Gent-Wevelgem (2006) and the E3 Prijs (2008). Despite his successes he ultimately failed to establish himself at the ProTour teams. Kopp turned 31 in the first week of the year, so he still has some time to prove his abilities.
