Matthias Kessler's condition is improving following his bad crash when out training in Mallorca. Kessler fell while out on a training ride with Andreas Klöden.

His father, Karlheinz Kessler, reported that Kessler's overall condition is starting to show signs of improvement. "Matthias can already move some parts [of his body]," he told Sporza.

Not everything is perfect yet. "Now, he has a bit of a fever." But the movements are good news. "We are satisfied with any reaction by his body. We hope that Matthias can now begin to fight as quickly as possible."

Kessler is still in a hospital in Mallorca. The doctors continue to be cautious about his transferral back to Germany, saying that it is too risky to put Kessler in a plane.
