Before heading off to the island of Corsica for the Critérium International, RadioShack's seven-time Tour de France winner, Lance Armstrong, stopped in Paris to present French President Nicolas Sarkozy with a new Trek Madone.

Armstrong communicated via Twitter that he met with the French president at the Elysée Palace, and handed over the bike with with a paint scheme of the “Bleu, blanc, et rouge on the seat tube”, which are the colors of the French flag, and the signature of the French president on the frame.

“Had to throw a little @Livestrong love on there!!” he tweeted, referring to the Livestrong Foundation logo on the bike. Armstrong made the trip with his girlfriend Anna Hansen and RadioShack manager Johan Bruyneel.
