Fuente wins Tour of Germany second stage

Spaniard David de la Fuente of the Scott team won the second stage of the Tour of Germany here on Sunday. The riders best result of the season up until now had been a second place in the fifth stage of the Vuelta Asturias.
Italy's Pietro Caucchioli finished second at 0.02sec with Swede Thomas Lovkvist third after the 182.6km run from Munich to Hesselberg.
Coming back strong from injury, Germany's Linus Gerdemann finished fifth to hold the overall race lead.
