After renewing the contract with Danilo Di Luca, LPR Team Manager Fabio Bordonali has added another weapon to his arsenal in the form of one Alessandro Petacchi.
"I am very happy and satisfied to have reached this agreement." said Petacchi. He continued, "This moment has great meaning for me. The confidence on the part of Bordonali who believed in me, speaks to my many years of work and my professionalism. I am equally happy to work alongside fellow countrymen like Di Luca, Savoldelli and a team that is competitive and professional. Now I hope I can repay this trust in me and do well in LPR BALLAN."
Bordonali commented, "It 'a great satisfaction he will be among our ranks along with other riders as Di Luca and Savoldelli. Petacchi is an important rider, who brings a wealth of experience and professionalism that has already been demonstrated by the team."
The recent signing of Petacchi confirms the teams desire to increase its depth to be competitive all season long.
