Partial jersey revealed by American ProTeam

Garmin-Cervelo jersey The Garmin-Cervélo squad gave a sneak peak of the team colours for 2011, with the partial jersey shown giving more of a nod to the latter than the American ProTour outfit.

The team deliberately obscured the lower portion of the jersey, showing just half of the front of the jersey in its preview. It is mainly black with a white band across the chest and the main sponsor emblazoned in that margin. The other sponsors are written in smaller letters above this, listing Transitions, TATA Consultancy Services and Holowesko.

Surprisingly, co-sponsor Cervélo also appears in smaller lettering, although this may appear again elsewhere when the full design is unveiled.

The partial glimpse reveals just a trace of Garmin’s characteristic Argyle, with the pattern being limited to the sleeves. Again, this might appear elsewhere when the full kit is revealed. Either way, the overall look is a clear departure from what has been used since the team’s origin.

Garmin-CerveloAs was previously announced, the teamwear will be made by Castelli. The company and TATA Consultancy Services also accompany Cervélo in the move across from the now-defunct Cervélo Test Team.

The Garmin team has started to offer the jersey for sale to fans in its online store. In recognition of the fact that they can’t see the full design, they have been offered full money back if they don’t like the new styling.
