Friday, November 7, 2008 Polish National Champion signs with Lampre by VeloNation Press at 1:50 PM EST   comments Categories: Pro Cycling   Joining riders Bodyk, Szerszynski, Spruch and Szmyd, Polish national champion Marcin Sapa will riding along side his fellow countrymen at Italian Team Lampre. Born in Konin in 1976, Sapa is a rouleur with qualities of attacker who has had 13 victories since his career began in 2000. His contract with the Lampre team is for one year. "We noticed Marcin during last Tour de Polonge, in which he won sprint classification." said Lampre's manager Saronni commented. "Sapa tried several breakaway attempts and the for bunch was not so easy to chase him.
