Monday, January 12, 2009 Le Tour not in Basso's program by VeloNation Press at 1:44 AM EST   comments Categories: Pro Cycling, Tour de France, Giro d'Italia   Ivan Basso will not participate in the Tour de France this year, reports the French media L'Équipe. Basso will focus his efforts on the other to Grand Tours, the Giro d'Italia and the Vuelta. The 31-year-old Italian is celebrating his comeback to the sport with Italian Team Liquigas after a two-year suspension for his involvement with the infamous Spanish doctor Eufemiano Fuentes.
