Patrick Lefevere is sending a strong team, including previous winner Tom Boonen, to the 2009 edition of the Tour of Qatar.
A pleasant surprise for the team is that the team will include Belgian Wouter Weylandt. Only two weeks ago the promising young rider had to leave the teams training camp in Benicassim
"I’m very happy," explains Weylandt, "Now I feel better. On Saturday I trained 5 hours and on Sunday 6 hours without pain. I am ready to give my contribution to the team in the Tour of Qatar."
The Tour of Qatar runs from February 1-6.
Riders: Tom Boonen, Steven De Jongh, Kevin Hulsmans, Kevin Van Impe, Sebastien Rosseler, Marco Velo, Wouter Weylandt, Maarten Wynants
Director Sportif: Wilfried Peeters
