Both Stijn Devolder Wouter Weylandt had injury problems during team Quick-Step’s recent training camp in Benicassim, Spain raising concerns on their preparation with team manager Patrick Lefevere.

As reported on VeloNation, the winner of the 2008 Ronde Van Vlaanderen had pain in his left kneecap from a fall while training in Belgium.

It appears as though his prescription for 10 days of rest has paid off, as he has started his training again this past weekend.

Another bright spot for the squad is that young Belgian Wouter Weylandt, who had to leave the training camp early, has also resumed his training. Weylandt will be heading to the Tour of Qatar this week along with team leader Tom Boonen and Director Sportif Wilfred Peters.
